The earliest card picturing Rogers Hornsby originates from the 1916-20 Big-Heads strip card issue. Additionally, a very scarce card of Hornsby was also included in the 1917 D350-2 Standard Biscuit set. The following season, two very popular cards of Hornsby were issued within the Collins McCarthy and Boston Store sets. Finally, another early card depicting Hornsby was produced during the 1919-21 time frame and is catalogued as a W514 strip card.
