Although only one copy is known to exist, the earliest card depicting Joe Kelley hails from the 1894 Alpha Photo Engraving set. Subsequently, another extremely rare Kelley item was produced during the 1898-99 time frame by the National Copper Plate Company as part of their portfolio of fifty baseball stars. Additionally, the same image of Kelley used for the National Copper Plate issue would also be utilized to produce the M101-1 Sporting News Supplement of Kelley as well. Another very popular Kelley card hails from the 1902-11 W600 Sporting Life Cabinets issue. Finally, one more extremely scarce Kelley card was included as part of the 1903 E107 Breisch Williams card set.
