Most collectors will consider the 1926 Exhibits card picturing Earle Combs to be his Rookie Card of choice. In addition, another extremely scarce card of Combs was also produced during the 1926 season and is catalogued as a New York Yankees Kut-Outs issue. Subsequently, the first standard-size card of Combs was produced during 1927 by the York Caramel Company. The following season, two strip cards picturing Combs were issued and have been given the designations of W502 and W513 in the American Card Catalogue.
