| The true Rookie Card for Ford Frick was produced in conjunction with the 1949 Eureka Sportstamps issue. The earliest mainstream card depicting Frick appears within the 1959 Topps set with the identical photo used for a Venezuelan Topps version issued during the same season but more more scarce than its American counterpart. Additionally, a card of Frick was also included in one other 1959 set which was produced by Fleer and is known throughout the hobby as the Ted Williams issue. Finally, another mainstream card of Frick was included in the 1960 Fleer set. |
