| The earliest baseball collectible to picture Joe Gordon hails from the 1938 Overland Candy issue, a very scarce grouping of candy wrappers depicting line drawings of baseball players on their fronts. Subsequently, the next issue to contain an image of Joe Gordon would be the 1938 M114 Baseball Magazine Supplements. The following season, in 1939, a Gordon card was included within the Goudey Premiums baseball set. Additionally, another Premium depicting Gordon was also produced during 1939, the World Wide Gum issue. Finally, over the time span from 1939-46, the Exhibit Supply Company included cards of Gordon as part of their Salutations series. |
