| The earliest mainstream card appearance for Rube Marquard comes within the 1908-10 American Caramel set. In addition, a very scarce cabinet card depicting Marquard was also issued in 1908 by the Joseph Hall Studio for the local New York Giants baseball players of the era. One more very rare Marquard collectible was also issued in 1908 by the Indianapolis Postcard company. Subsequently, a card of marquard would be included within the 1909-11 American Caramel series. Finally, another very popular, early card picturing Marquard was included in the 1909-11 Colgan's Chips set. |
