The earliest baseball collectible picturing Grover Cleveland Alexander was produced as part of the M101-2 Sporting News Supplements issued in 1911. Another early Alexander piece which is extremely difficult to find originates from the 1912 S81 Silks set. Additionally, another very rare Alexander item was also produced during 1912, the large-size L1 Leather picturing a full body illustration of the pitching great. For traditional card collectors, the earliest Grover Cleveland Alexander cards were both issued during 1913 as part of two playing card game sets, Tom Barker & National Game.
