The earliest baseball collectible picturing Ray Schalk hails from the 1909-13 Sporting News Supplements issue. Subsequently, the first mainstream cards of Schalk were produced by Cracker Jack and were included in both their 1914 and 1915 baseball set releases. Another very popular, early card of Schalk was issued in conjunction with the 1916 Sporting News baseball series. Finally, a rarely seen strip card depicting Schalk was also produced during the 1916-20 time frame.
