Although it is extremely scarce, the earliest card picturing Dazzy Vance originates from the 1919 Zeenuts PCL Minor League series. Subsequently, the first Major League card to depict Vance hails from the rare 1924 Diaz Cigarettes issue. Another very rare, early Vance card was produced in conjunction with the 1925 Universal Toy Dodgers set. In addition, a popular card of Vance was also included within the 1925 Exhibits baseball series. Finally, a strip card of Vance was produced during the 1925-31 time frame and is catalogued as W590 in the American Card Catalogue.
