The earliest baseball collectible picturing Jimmy Collins originates from the extremely scarce 1898 Cameo Pepsin Gum Pinbacks set. Another extremely rare Collins item was produced during the 1898-99 time frame by National Copper Plate in conjunction with their portfolio of 50 baseball stars of the era. Additionally, during the 1899 season, a group of Chickering Studio Cabinets was produced depicting members of the Boston Baseball Club. Subsequently, another tough to find Collins collectible was issued as part of the 1899-00 M101-1 Sporting News Supplements issue. Finally, a popular card of Collins was included in the 1902-11 W600 Sporting Life Cabinets set.
