Joe DiMaggio

Joe DiMaggio Career Statistics
(from baseball-reference.com)
HOF Year: 1955
First Year in MLB: 1936 HOF Category: Player
Last Year in MLB: 1951 HOF Electing Group: Baseball Writers
The earliest card picturing "Joltin Joe" DiMaggio is a batting pose found in the 1934 Zeenut PCL Minor League set. The following year, he also appeared in the Zeenut set--this time in a fielding pose. DiMaggio was also included in a very scarce autographed card set produced in 1935 by Pebble Beach Clothiers. The first Major League baseball card appearances for DiMaggio came in 1936 and spanned three different card issues: the Goudey Wide Pens set, the R312 Color Tints set and the World Wide Gum set (not shown, but is by far the scarcest of the three).
